IAAH/Artefact Annual Study Day
Call for Papers
Saturday, 8 April 2017
National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks
Together, the Irish Association of Art Historians and Artefact: Journal of the Irish Association of Art Historians, are holding the annual study day to promote and encourage current art historical research in Ireland. Over the past number of years, the study day has revealed the rich and diverse nature of research on the island of Ireland, in art and architectural history, design history, material and visual culture, and other cognate disciplines.
This year, we are particularly interested in papers that build upon, utilise, critique or reflect on the methods, works and writings of John Berger (1926 – 2017).
Abstracts of no more than 350 words for 20 minute papers should be submitted by 8 March 2017 to artefactjournal@gmail.com, along with a short biographical note.
Although the study day is open to all, speakers must be IAAH members. To join the IAAH, see artefactjournal.org
